The road network achievements during the period of President Abdel Fattah el Sisi

Since Egypt took the decision of development and construction and went along with its leader Abdel Fattah al-Sisi towards a better future, commenced to pave the way for a network of global roads in all the parts of Al-Mahrousa, which is going on by escort of loyal Egyptian builders flowing to new Egypt.

And because President Abdel Fattah el Sisi allied with time, Egypt has made a nearly miraculous progress in a short period, and acceleratingly changed the road map in an incredible way and it has reflected in Egypt’s international position to inspect nearly 50 ranks once and occupies the 75th rank in the field of improving the quality of roads globally after it was ranked the 118.

In improving the ports’ infrastructure field, Egypt occupied the 41st position after it was ranked 61st.

In the field of infrastructure quality, Egypt leapt through ranks from the 125th position to the 71st.

Egypt’s total investment in roads and bridges field in the period from 2014 to 2018 have reached 32 billion pounds, of which 19 billion were for the National Road project, which extended throughout Egypt as an artery of 1,100 kilometers.

Six shafts were created on the Nile, 75 kilometres long, at a cost of 3 billion and 700 million pounds, including the Banha’s shaft,  Jirja shaft, Beni Mazar shaft and Talkha shaft, all on the Nile, witnessing a new era in which Egypt extends its hands, its prosperity to every inch of it.

The Armed Forces of Engineering Authority had been assigned to implement 362 project in the field of construction and development of roads, bridges and tunnels of cars and pedestrians, with a total of 203 roads, throughout 4402 ten kilometers and 250 bridges for cars, and 51 tunnels for cars also with pedestrian.

Among these roads was Hadbit el Jalala Road, 82 km length, 29 meters width, Beni Suef Zaafranah Road, and Oasis Farafra Road 140 km, in addition to the development of the Cairo-Ain Sokhna Road, 180 km long, and the construction of 30 Upper bridges at a cost of 3 billion and 300 million pounds  Including the Aja upper bridge above Ismailia’s Canal, and a bridge inside Tahta city on the railway and the Upper Kalabia Bridge, Cairo, the Egyptian capital, and its surrounding had a large share in the modern road network to deal with the problems of the capital loaded over long decades.

Many modern roads and shafts were created, including the road that divides the southern side of Marshal Tantawi’s Shaft, which was established to serve the visitors of the Egyptian Center for International Exhibitions and the construction of air defense, which contributes to ease the traffic pressure in the region, the road was constructed 5 kilometers long by three traffic lanes to all directions.

All what has been said is just an address, but the reality is bigger and the accomplishment is unimaginable and the picture is impressive, it is the image of a new Egypt that aspirant to a better and more prosperous future, on a worthy path, befits the one who walks through its lands, its dream and its great leader
